The present study presents a numerical prediction of residual stresses (RS) using the single-pass tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding process for stainless steel plates and two-pass TIG pipes. effect heat exchange between material environment was studied. work consists two parts: first one is based on determination existence numerically Cast3M software, which has been validated by literature results. second part addresses means envisaged to attenuate amplitudes these practical methods.
